On Thursday, July 31, during Restaurant Week, Germano's Trattoria and the Cabaret at Germano's present award-winning singer and television personality Carolyn Black-Sotir, along with pianist/singer Tim McReynolds and jazz bassist Tom Baldwin, performing"The Sweetest Sounds: A Richard Rodgers Cabaret." With such musical gems at My Romance, Manhattan, and My Funny Valentine, The Sweetest Sounds is engaging, enchanting, innovative, and as lyricist Oscar Hammerstein would describe--"simply wonderful." --"An abundance of beauty and talent." --Pittsburgh Press. The Cabaret Room opens at 6:00 p.m. for dining before the show, which begins at 7:30 p.m. There is a $10 music fee and a $15 food and drink minimum. The chef's table will take place in the Palm Room, with views of the marina. The table is limited to 20 seats, Monday - Friday, with one seating at 6p.m. The menu includes Chef Wolf's signature heads-on shrimp & grits, magret of duck, and dessert.
